Our 2400 sq. ft. lab is located in the basement of the CS wing in the Engineering Center Office Tower. We are equipped with a series of robotic testbeds including a Baxter robot, a fleet of 6 PrairieDog robots, a CLAM arm, and an (experimental) swarm of Droplets.
We have capabilities to develop SMD electronics using a Leica microscope and hot-air rework equipment. Nearby AAPCB and Advanced Circuits allow for quick turn-around on PCB manufacturing and automated assembly.
We also have access to a series of shared resources at the Integrated Teaching and Learning Laboratory (laser cutters, Objet 30 lithography printer, wood and metal working shops) and at the Colorado Nanofabrication Lab (Lithography tools, thin film deposition, dry etching, wet chemistry, wire bonding, electrical test equipment).
